G6PD Deficiency has been around for a long time and is well known in some parts of the world. Unfortunately, in the United States it has been known as a rare disease and largely ignored by the medical profession.
We are a very small group of people with G6PD Deficiency who would like to change that, as well as to help the millions of people who have this genetic disorder understand G6PD Deficiency and take better care of themselves.
To all those who suffer from G6PD Deficiency and related disorders, we wish you well. There are ways of controlling this disorder and if you will read the pages we have created for you and learn about G6PD Deficiency and how it works, you, like us, can live a long and happy life.
Love and health,
The G6PDDeficiency.org team.
I would like to thank all of those who have contributed their knowledge and understanding of G6PD Deficiency to this website. Without them this website would not exist.
The above have contributed an enormous amount of information so far and are continuing to guide me in creating our website. I say our website because it is our goal to be the most complete and up to date website in existence on the subject of G6PDD and how to live with it. It will take the combined experience and knowledge of all of us to make that happen.
I encourage all of you to come and join us. Create your own blog and contribute your experiences with G6PDD and join in our forum. We need all of you to make this website work. As you join us and contribute your experiences and knowledge, you will help us to make a difference in the lives of millions of people who suffer from G6PDD. Life doesn't get much better than that.
Love and health,
Dale Baker
